The Heart Series Notecard and Sticker Set includes:

~eight 4” x 6” blank cards with four different heart images made from mixed media paintings

~5 x 7 sticker sheet with four heart quotes (see below for more details) and four heart stickers that match the cards (the quote stickers are meant to go inside the cards and the heart stickers make beautiful envelope seals)

This set will arrive in a sleeve with an insert that includes the inspiration for these stickers.

I made the original artwork these cards are created from by laying variegated tissue down on archival cardboard. I find myself ‘painting’ with tissue. Then I draw into the tissue and layer in acrylic paint. After that it’s a back and forth with layers and layers of tissue, pen and ink, stamps and stencils and paint. These pieces are not just layers of tissue and paint and line, but also layers of emotion, layers of memory and dreams. Layers that are hidden and secret, brave or wild. Layers that are always variegated, always colorful.

This set of cards also makes a wonderful gift.
