The Off The Grid Notecard set includes eight 4” x 6” blank cards with reproductions of original paintings I did with acrylic paint, pen, ink, stencils, and tissue collage.

The cards are printed on white cardstock and the set includes 8 envelopes.

I discovered this grid technique and decided to explore it while I was waiting for my muse to bring me my next big project. I used painters tape on 150 pound Strathmore paper to tape off 6-12 squares or rectangles. First I used watered down acrylic paint on all the squares, then added more and more layers with pen, ink, collage, stencils and layers of opaque acrylic. Removing the tape revealed a field of paintings that related to one another but were also unique.
